Sound Quality: The sound quality is probably the worst part of the device. Although it can be extremely crisp and clear at times, when it is bad it sounds like radio static. During a conversation some parts of a sentence may be cut off. It is bad both on both sides of the line.
Comfort: This is defiantly one thing that this device has going for it. For some the iPod headphones are uncomfortable. For those of you who like the iPod headphones this is a plus. The design of the earpiece is exactly like the iPod headphones with the wire mesh and all. Although it is comfortable it is not a tight fit and can become lose in your ear.
Functionality: The functionality of this device is what you would expect from
any other headset. The button is easier to press than on the jawbone headset which is defiantly a plus. Although this device has one button and is very simple it does not lack in functionality. Simple yet functional.
Design: The design of this is probably the best part. It’s small and sleek with its black finish. One of the smallest headsets on the market. The device looks amazing. I’m 15 and it looks nice on me (granted it is a bit ridiculous for a 15 year old). You should have seen the jawbone on me.
Value: Nice for maybe 60. The quality is not worth the money. If you are like me and love the iPhone, it is worth it because it complements and completes the iPhone style. It’s part of the iPhone, and I love it just because of that. Value without dock 2. With dock 4 or 5.
Overall: Although this headset is mediocre and others are better and way cheaper, it fits with the iPhone and reacts well with the software that was put on the phone (look at the iPhone display when it’s on the dock with the headset). Everything works well together, and the dock is cool. If you don’t like your iPhone that much then this is not worth it for you. $129 is a lot. Other headsets don’t feel right when used with the iPhone. They feel like any third party controller on a console would. This headset was made for the iPhone.
